Two road closures tomorrow

If you use Brook Road in your daily commute expect delays throughout the rest of February — and especially tomorrow. The milling and repaving project resumes tomorrow (February 16th) at 9am — 4pm and last through the 25th. Also tomorrow, Robin Hood Road will have a lane closed during the same window. Good luck!

Eastbound Robin Hood Rd. closed Monday

Just got an alert from the city about a road closing on Robin Hood Road: WHEN: Monday, December 13, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. WHERE: Eastbound lanes of Robin Hood Road between Hermitage Road and Brook Road BACKGROUND: The eastbound lanes will be closed during replacement of a holding tank at 1505 Robin Hood Road.

A couple of street closings this weekend

This weekend the recently named-and-renamed Dominion Christmas Parade is going to be shutting down most of Broad Street. Leigh Street from Hermitage to North Boulevard will also be closed which will in turn impact some of your Northside travels. Roads should open back up around 1pm. Marathon! Runners! AUGH TRAFFIC!

Guys, tomorrow is marathon day. This means you will either be up, running around (literally), or stopped dead in traffic. Don’t forget about the road closures! Peep this list if you need a refresher of what exactly is closed. However, everything should be cleared up after 10am, so don’t fret.

Brookland Park Boulevard lane closures

Richmond City is reporting lanes (some? all?) of Brookland Park Boulevard between Brook and Meadowbridge will be closed the entire month of November (Nov. 1st – Nov. 30th). If this is part of your regularly scheduled work commute be prepared for delays or take an alternate route.
