100% of Richmond Schools are accredited

Woo! Yesterday the Virginia Department of Education released the 2010-2011 SOL and accreditation data (in a terrible format). Thanks to RVANews you can see that full data set as a Google Spreadsheet. Tricycle Gardens’ Edible Revolution Garden Tour to highlight Holton community garden

10th annual Holton 5k seeks to raise 5k dollars

March 6th is the annual Holton 10k run/walk. Meeting about composite index school funding at Holton TONIGHT

School Board members are having meetings across the city to discuss Governor McDonnell’s recommendation to unfreeze the current “local composite index forumla.” The index determines, in part, how much state funding a school district receives.
