This is pulled from the VDOE’s (incredibly hard to use) AYP page. To make AYP a school must have: …more than 86 percent of students overall and students in all subgroups must have demonstrated proficiency in reading, and more than 85 percent of students overall and in all subgroups must have demonstrated proficiency in mathematics.

Northside sports update

VUU drops to 1-5 with a loss to Elizabeth City State University, 17-14. Running back Tarian Donaldson rushed for 81 yards, and broke 2,000 total career yards. Patrick Henry defeated the John Marshall Justices 16-8.

John Marshall kicks off season against Jamestown

The 2010 John Marshall High football schedule gets going on Saturday, September 11 with a home game vs Jamestown High out of Williamsburg. The ten game schedule includes five home games, all on Saturday afternoons.
