Two shot on the 3900 block of Chamberlayne

WRIC is now reporting that one of the victims has life-threatening injuries: At least one victim is being treated for life-threatening injuries. And NBC12 has a bit more info: Police found two victims, both men in their twenties. One was found in the hallway of an apartment complex, the other on a sidewalk nearby.

Update Richmond Police have arrested two people in connection with last night’s fatal shooting on Chamberlayne Avenue. Kevin M. Scott, 18, of the 8400 block of Tyler Lane, has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder. A juvenile teen female has also been arrested and charged. Investigators believe robbery was the motive in this incident.

NBC12 reports: A shooting investigation is underway in Richmond’s northside. Police responded to reports of shots fired around 10:00 Friday night in the 2900 block of Chamberlayne Avenue. We’re told a male was shot and treated at the hospital. He is expected to be okay. The investigation is on-going.
