Fatal shooting at Brookland Park & Barton

Here’s the update on yesterday’s fatal shooting at Brookland Park and Barton. Police say the murder was not random, but they are “concerned about possible retaliation.” The release in full follows.

City plans to revitalize Brookland Park Boulevard (again)

Style Weekly brings word of another attempt by the City at revitalizing a stretch of Brookland Boulevard. This time they’ll start by demolishing 209 & 211 W. Brookland Park Boulevard.

Be aware! Brookland Park safety improvements underway

The City has started working on some of the proposed Brookland Park Boulevard safety improvements. Expect lane and sidewalk closures. The project is scheduled to last until November 4th.
