From the RTD: …the man told officers he was riding his bike at 11:15 p.m. at First Avenue and Cypress Street when he heard gunfire and realized he had been shot. See all of Northside’s shootings in 2011.

Murder in Barton Heights

NBC12 is reporting a double shooting / single murder in Southern Barton Heights last night: It happened around 3:00 Saturday morning at the intersection of West Fells and St. James Streets. When officers arrived they discovered two men with gunshot wounds. Police say one died at the hospital, the other is expected to survive.
