During the month of October, merchants all along Lakeside Avenue have been holding their annual Lakeside Scarecrow Harvest Festival. Over twenty five scarecrows were created and displayed by the shopkeepers and their staff. The Lakeside Farmers’ Market opens its official 2011 season this Saturday, April 2. The Market runs from 8 am – noon every Saturday, and from 8 am – dusk on Wednesdays. We are so very lucky to have this wonderful permanent market right here in northside in the heart of Lakeside!
