5th Annual Richmond Zine Fest this Saturday, October 8! Get DIY with your reading material!

Zines! You read them in high school! Or…you don’t know what they are? Let the Richmond Zine Fest enlighten you this Saturday, October 8 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Gay Community Center of Richmond (1407 Sherwood Ave.). It’s free to attend, and for just a few dollars, you’ll be able to pick up a lot of provocative, funny, dramatic, or maybe even hilariously bad reading material.

The Zine Fest also offers workshops on making, distributing, and loving zines, in addition to some other topics that sound pretty interesting. Take a look at the 2011 Workshop Schedule and make your choices wisely!
