Weed found during a traffic stop on Westbrook Avenue

Wednesday night I was heading into town around 9pm and there were four police cars parked on Westbrook between East and West Seminary. They had pulled over a white SUV. As I drove past I saw what looked to be several pretty sizable bags of marijuana on the hood of one of the police cars.

I emailed the police to see if I could get some more details:

On this one, it’s also ongoing so I’m limited in what I can say. I can confirm that an officer conducted a traffic stop and smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was searched and a quantity of marijuana, money and firearm were located in the vehicle, and an arrest was made.
