Tour the RPD barn!
The Richmond Police Department will hold an ‘Open Barn’ from 1pm — 5pm on Sunday June 5, at the Richmond Mounted Police stables, 801 Brook Road.

This is a unique opportunity to get to know the officers in an informal setting and see the horses when they are off duty.
“People are always fascinated by our Mounted Unit while they’re at work out in the community so we’re happy to throw open the barn doors and give them an up close and personal look at how this team works,” said Capt. Will Smith, head of the Special Operations Division.
The stables are about two blocks southeast of the main Post Office. Look for a “horse crossing” sign with balloons and the squad’s horse trailer.
