Question: the Knights of Brook?
Does anyone know why there are Knights doing battle at the corner of Brook and Bellevue on Tuesday nights? Should I build a catapult or perhaps a moat to defend my mini-fiefdom?

I was wondering about this, too. I didn’t see them in action, so the only thing I could come up with was that it was a Monty Python re-enactment.
Perhaps they are the Knights who say ‘Ni’?
Society for Creative Anarchronism, I believe.
Thanks for the replies. David, it would appear you are right. I had never heard of that organization before, but apparently we live in the Barony of Caer Mear, located in the Laurel Kingdom of Atlantia. Every Tuesday night they have Rapier and armory practice as well as arts and science meetings. I might wander over there some Tueday evening and check this out closer up.
Wow. It’s still around? I was a member of the Barony of Caer Mear when I was 13 or 14! In the early 80s. What a dork.
They’re a nice bunch. Go say “hi!”
c’mon over!
Yes, come on over and say hi, ask questions, and have a good time.
It is good to hear that I won’t get run through if I don’t wear mail!
Do any of these people play the hurdy gurdy?
I have been learning 17th century French folk tunes and am interested in finding someone to play with.
Thanks!
It’s a weekly meeting of the Midieval Club at Battery Park Christian!
