Mommie Dearest, Donnie Darko at Movieland

This is a…bold choice by Movieland to show Mommie Dearest on freaking Mother’s Day. WIRE HANGERS!!!!! If you haven’t seen it, definitely stop by — but maybe not with your mother.

Also this weekend at Insomnia Theatre is Donnie Dark, a movie about…rabbits? The end of the world? Vortexes? No one really knows. It does star Jake Gyllenhaal which is a plus. Also, it was written and directed by Richard Kelly who grew up on Richmond’s southside (Midlothian High School represent!).
