*UPDATE* Delegate McClellan presenting General Assembly update

Due to “a number of illnesses” Councilman Samuels has cancelled tonight’s meeting. The meeting will be rescheduled.

Delegate Jennifer L. McClellan, rep for the 71st district (that includes the Northside), will be presenting an update on the Virginia General Assembly on Thursday evening (March 10th) at a North Central 2nd District meeting being hosted by City Councilman Charles Samuels.

Other topics on the agenda include home foreclosure prevention, community gardens, and leaf and tree collection.

The meeting will take place from 6 to 7:30pm this evening at Retreat Hospital (2621 Grove Avenue). Parking is free and can be found on 3rd, 4th, or 5th floor of the hospital’s parking deck.
