School bus accident on Chamberlayne yesterday

I missed this yesterday because I decided to drive down Brook to work instead of down Chamberlayne. There were no children on the bus and no one was injured.

Police say a school bus didn’t stop in time behind a number of cars waiting for a truck pulling a trailer to make a right turn.

The school bus rear-ended a van causing a chain reaction crash with several other cars.

Part of Chamberlayne Avenue was shut down around 8:30 near Edgehill as crews investigated and cleaned up the mess. One person was treated for minor injuries.
