Burglar alarms: use ‘em if you got ‘em

The president of the Battery Park Civic Assocation’s home, of all people, was broken into recently and, luckily, the robber was scared off by the burglar alarm.

Meyers tells NBC12 that his home is one of the few home in Battery Park that has a working burglar alarm. He believes that that’s what scared the crooks off causing them to leave empty handed.

His words of advice: “just make sure your alarms [are] programmed.”
