Scarecrows On Display In Lakeside!

As you drive through Lakeside or visit the shops and businesses there, make sure you keep an eye out for 24 creative scarecrows crafted by business owners and their employees.

The first annual Lakeside Scarecrow Festival runs through the month of October. Shop owners were asked to create a scarecrow that personified their unique business and display them outside their shops to help decorate the Avenue for autumn. Visitors are asked to vote for their favorite scarecrow creations by visiting www.lakesideavenue.net where you can see pictures of all of the scarecrows. Shoppers at the Lakeside Farmers’ Market may also vote at the market on Wednesdays and Saturdays during Market days.

The L.B.A – Lakeside Business Association sponsors the Lakeside Scarecrow Festival.
