Chalices stolen from St. Paul’s Catholic Church

WTVR reports:

RICHMOND – Members of St. Paul Catholic Church were stunned and heartbroken Saturday to learn that four chalices were taken from the building’s sacristy.

… the value of the chalices [is estimated] at about $900 each. They had just been reconditioned, courtesy of a generous donation, that was made on behalf of the parishioner’s deceased wife. The chalices are used routinely for mass, weddings, funerals and all special occasions. They’ve been in the church for generations.
