Watch a sweet meteor shower at Bryan Park
The Perseids are coming! Each year between July and August the earth travels through the debris of comet Swift-Tuttle, which results in a meteor shower. The predicted max – when you should see the most meteors at once – this year is August 12th.
If you’re interested in something amazing, scientific, and beautiful the Richmond Astronomical Society has got you covered. They’ll be meeting in Bryan Park at 8pm on Thursday the 12th (this Thrusday) to watch the meteor shower.
