Theatre in Battery Park
A new public arts/theatre group is debuting in Battery Park with a performance of As You Like It. Their name? Theatre in Battery Park.
Theatre in Battery Park is a brand new grass roots community based band of performers dedicated to re-imagining, re-invigorating, and reaching out to a whole new audience of theatre enthusiasts. Access to great art is a right not a luxury, so Theatre in Battery Park is 100 percent admission free (though tax deductible and in-kind donations are welcomed). So unfurl those blankets, break out the lawn chairs and stuff your picnic baskets for for an evening of theatre in historic Battery Park.
As You Like It runs August 13th, 14th, and 15th starting at 6:30pm. Also, the performance is free!
