Gunshots heard in Lakeside last night

I live in lakeside a few blocks from dumbarton and heard gunshots around 1:10am last night. i called the police and they said officers were already on the call looking to find where the shots were coming from. i believe i heard 4-5 shots. i was curious if anyone in the neighborhood heard these shots and/or knew anything else about the story.
Anyone heard anything?
I thought that I heard something around that time and just figured it was leftover fireworks from the prior weekend.
HCPD “Calls For Service” website shows a reported incident for 2200 Block Kent St 07/12/2010 1:01 AM, Unable to Locate, Firearm Violation.
We heard them too and I just thought they were fireworks as well…sounded a little to deep to be gunshots (to me anyways, or musta been a big shotgun)

o no, not gun shots, and the police were on it before you called. How nice for you, come over to the northside, when you call they ask how many shots, if it’s under 5 they don’t do anything.

In the recent past I’ve called 5 times on gunshots, anywhere from 2 – 4 shots, and the police responded to all but one of them in a fairly timely manor. I live on Hanes just south of Brookland Park Blvd. I’m satisfied with the response from RPD.
