Their MO is they show up at your door claiming offering to “upgrade your security system” and ask to come inside your home — presumably with nefarious intentions. The men have badges, and official looking uniforms but have refused to present ID or business cards. [...]

Not much detail on this one, but RTD is reporting a shooting on Ladies Mile Road: The shooting occurred shortly after noon near East Ladies Mile Road and Jeter Avenue. His injuries were described as possibly life-threatening. More as it develops.
