Police receive tip about explosive device in Bryan Park
The RTD is reporting:
Police apprehended an unidentified male last night at the edge of Bryan Park in Richmond’s North Side after they got a tip that he might be headed there with an explosive device.
Authorities located the person shortly before 9 p.m. after a search involving roughly two dozen officers from three police agencies, at least two police dogs and an airplane, said Richmond police Capt. Harvey Powers.
Police have not found explosives in the park.

???!!! What? Why would anyone want to blow up Brian Park!!?? It’s a nice place to visit, especially when the Azalea flowers are in bloom. When my kids were little, we used to go over and feed the ducks and or squirrels. Sometimes we’d picnic there, or play on the play playground. Makes no sense someone wanting to damage a public park.
