North Avenue Market and Deli robbed at gunpoint

- The North Avenue Market and Deli, 2301 North Ave.
- An employee reported the business was robbed at gunpoint by an unknown male.
Surprised that hasn’t happened before.
Richard, armed robberies happen more often than you — or anyone else — realize. And in places you wouldn’t expect them to. I’ve been through that area, and it seemed like a nice place. Then again, so was the store I used to work in. When I was held up at gunpoint. Twice. I just hope no one got hurt in the recent robbery on North Ave.
