Death on Bellevue ruled manslaughter
After an extensive investigation into Jefferson’s death and consultation with the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, a determination has been made that Jefferson’s death was the result of an accidental shooting.
Initially, Rodney Leon Wright Jr. was charged with conspiracy to commit murder in Jefferson’s death. The charge against Wright has been nolle prossed.
As a result of the investigation, Lamont Kantel Boone, 20, is charged with involuntary manslaughter. The investigation revealed Boone apparently shot Jefferson while reloading his gun.
Boone will remain in Richmond City Jail until prosecution.

Should we expect protests over this one?
So what was his intention for loading the gun?
“Oops! I accidentally fired ten shots at him.” This is a farce. Someone was gunning for the other one and should be charged accordingly.

I know this doesn’t have anything to do with the shooting on Bellevue but it shows what is starting to go in the City. We have a weak Chief of Police, putting a police car on the 2900 Barton is not what needs to happen there, they need to start busting the dealers over there. And then put the police car.
