Police looking for Brookland Park robber

Richmond Police need the public’s help in finding a man who robbed the Market Place on East Brookland Park Boulevard this morning.
At approximately 7:42 a.m. today, a man walked into the Market Place at 101 E. Brookland Park Blvd. and robbed the clerks at gunpoint.
He is described as a black male, 5’5” feet tall, 120-140 pounds, short hair and slight facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, blue jeans and white sneakers.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.

I drove by the place this morning and it was surrounded by about a half dozen different police cars – it was crazy. Good to see the community responding with a real presence.
That’s right around the corner from me. The parking lot is always full of people hanging out. I’m surpised they haven’t been robbed before. The store is right there at the corner of Barton Ave.
I just realized the guy that robbed the store is a midget. His chest just above the counter. He should be easy to find, a midget with a gun.
easier to find than a tranny with a frying pan, I betcha.
I hope the police will be on point to keep the gun fire to min this July 4th. Last couple of years over July 4th it sounded like a war zone.
