Man arrested in North Highland Park burglaries

From the Times-Dispatch: Richmond police have arrested a man suspected of committing burglaries in the North Highland Park area. Marcellus A. McQuinn, 34, of the 2600 block of Third Avenue, was arrested yesterday and charged with burglary and grand larceny. Police said McQuinn is also wanted in Halifax County, N.C., on burglary and larceny charges.

Man missing near Old Brook Road

Permanent market structure proposed for Lakeside

Lakeside Farmers’ Market has submitted concept drawings for a permanent structure to the Henrico County Planning Department; the drawings were developed in conjunction with the Henrico County Enterprise Zone. Diesel tanker overturned on 95N.

From WTVR: It appears that a Woodfin oil truck has overturned just under the Bryan Park overpass. The cab and the tanker have come apart and fuel is leaking from it. Avoid the area and hope the fuel doesn’t leak into Bryan Park!

Rosedale quarterly meeting is Wednesday

Don’t forget that the Rosedale Civic Associaton’s quarterly meeting happens this Wednesday, March 4, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Hermitage at 1600 Westwood Avenue. Guest speakers will be Richmond councilmembers Chris Hilbert and Charles Samuels, along with school board representative Kim Gray.
