This is just soooooooo cool. I am not ten minutes from the Cinemas.
Just having a theatre that close is wonderful! We read they had a bar and real food. The bar is a joke and you can’t take your drinks outside of this small area–let alone into the movie. The food looked ballpark quality. Passed. (Better off walking over to Buzz and Ned’s). Having a small child, I am WAY behind on films, but I have been wanting to see Grand Torino. I guess since this has been out a while, they had it playing in a smaller theater? I hope the rest of the theaters are bigger.
Hey Frank, J. and I went last week to see Watchmen and the theatre we sat in was quite large. They probably have different sized theatres dependent on the popularity of the movie. The theatres in the burbs do the same.
The Sunday morning Movies and Mimosas program is fantastic. We saw Maltese Falcon last week and Casablanca this week.
Loved the theatre! I dont care what size the screen was, the movie and sound was great, it was clean, the people were friendly, you can butter your own popcorn (I am not sure why that made me laugh, but it did) and it is in Richmonds BACKYARD! FINALLY some revenue coming to us…keep it coming city….
BTW…. see movies often. If you get their little value card( free) you can see movies on Tuesdays for $6.00 and movies and mimosas are 4.50 (a buck off)
LETS ALL GO TO THE MOVIES!
