Grand opening week at Movieland benefits VCU Children’s Medical Center

On Thursday, Movieland and VCU Children’s Medical Center come together for a special premiere viewing of “Sunshine Cleaning,” written by Richmonder Megan Holley and starring Amy Adams, Emily Blunt & Alan Arkin. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. with a reception of light hors d’oeuvres and beverages, and an opportunity to meet screenwriter Megan Holley. The screening starts at 8:00 p.m.

Tickets for the reception and film are $50 for members of the VCU community and $65 for the general public. Business attire is requested. Tickets must be purchased online at VCU Children’s Medical Center’s website here.

All proceeds will benefit the VCU Children’s Medical Center.
