Tuesday meeting at Holton focused on Boulevard development

There will be a public meeting — cosponsored by 2nd District Councilman Charles Samuels and the Rosedale Civic Association (which lies within both the 2nd and 3rd districts) — to discuss the status of Highwood Properties’ proposed development plan for the 60+ city-owned acres along North Boulevard. Highwood representatives are also expected to discuss the proposed baseball stadium and mixed-use development in Shockoe Bottom.

The meeting is scheduled for this Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Linwood Holton Elementary School, 1600 W. Laburnum Avenue.
