Recent crimes reported in Northside

North Richmond News is working with the Richmond Police Department to keep the community informed of crimes in our area; there have been several crimes reported in Northside in recent days. We will report crimes by block numbers, not specific addresses (except for businesses):

• A woman reported that she was assaulted and held against her will be a known male on the 3200 block of Cliff Avenue in North Highland Park the night of December 23.
• A male and female reported they were robbed by three unknown males with a gun on the 2700 block of Fourth Avenue at 7:10 p.m. on December 23.
• A male and a female reported they were assaulted by a known female on the 700 block at Northside Avenue at 7:20 p.m. on December 23. An arrest was made.
• A female reported she was assaulted by a known female on the 200 block of Hospital Street at 2:30 a.m. on December 23. An arrest was made.
• A male reported he was assaulted by a known male on the 3100 block of Barton Avenue at 6:06 a.m. on December 19.
• A male reported he was robbed by an unknown male with a gun on the 4300 block of Old Brook Road at 2:50 a.m. on December 20.
• An employee of the Econo Lodge at 1600 Robin Hood Road reported two unknown males with a gun robbed the business at 6:20 p.m. on December 20.
• A male reported he was shot by an unknown male on the 3800 block of Chamberlayne Avenue at 10:27 p.m. on December 21. The victim’s injury is not life threatening.
• An adult was arrested for sexually assaulting a juvenile male on the 600 block of Hazelhurst Avenue in North Highland Park at 11:50 p.m. on December 17.
• A female reported she was assaulted and robbed by a known male on the 3200 block of Garland Avenue in North Highland Park at 8:00 a.m. on December 18.
