Recent crimes reported in Northside
North Richmond News is working with the Richmond Police Department to keep the community informed of crimes in our area; there have been several crimes reported in Northside in recent days. We will report crimes by block numbers, not specific addresses:
- A male reported he was abducted and robbed at gunpoint by an unknown male with a gun on the 3900 block of Chamberlayne Avenue at 12:05 a.m. on December 4.
- A male reported he was robbed by an unknown male with a gun on the 2600 block of Chamberlayne Avenue at 5:20 a.m. on December 1.
- A male reported he was assaulted by a known male on the 2100 block of North Avenue at 3:45 p.m. on November 28.
- A male reported he was assaulted and robbed by two unknown males on the 3000 block of Barton Avenue at 11:14 p.m. on November 27.
- A juvenile male reported he was assaulted and robbed by two known males on the 2400 block of Barton Avenue at 2:15 p.m. on November 26.
I live on Hilliard Rd. and on the 25th of November 2 reddish pitbulls managed to kill our beloved 12 yr old family cat as well as our neighbor’s family cat in no more than 30 minutes. Henrico animal control was unable to locate the pitbulls when they did a neighborhood search. If anyone knows anything about these two dogs, please contact the Henrico County Animal Control. What if, instead of a cat, my 2 yr old son had been in the front yard???
