Northside’s Tacky (and other) Lights
Last Saturday’s Richmond Times-Dispatch featured a full-out listing of dozens of homes around Central Virginia that will be illuminated in all of their painful glory this December. Two Northside homes and a cultural landmark made the listing; check out the complete list with details at InRich.com’s tacky lights page.
- 8422 Eden Street in Lakeside will be illuminated nightly from 5:30 until 10:00pm through New Year’s Eve with 40,000 lights, a fire engine and a cowboy Santa.
- 2107 Ginter Street in Lakeside will be shining brightly from 6:00 until 11:00pm with 50,000 lights, 13 mini trees and a landing strip for Santa’s sleigh in her driveway.
- The GardenFest of Lights at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden will set you back $6-$10 but boasts 500,000 lights and a host of exhibits.
