Lakeside Farmers’ Market concludes its first year

The highly successful Lakeside Farmers’ Market wrapped up its first year of business last week. Word is that Northside residents will have several options for their local produce in 2009 with rumors of a farmers’ market planned for Bryan Park.

Thanksgiving trash collection schedule

City of Richmond offices will be closed this Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. More shed break-ins reported

A reader reports that a Laburnum Avenue resident fell victim to their fourth shed break-in. The thieves cut the lock and stole a leaf blower. Several other shed break-ins have been reported recently. Keep your outdoor lights on and your eyes open.
