Colorful pheasant seen scurrying around Bellevue
WRIC TV-8 reports on a colorful, fast-moving bird — most likely a pheasant — seen around the Bellevue area, most recently on Pope Avenue. Reporter Kim Schumaker interviewed Ginter Park resident Mary Beth Taromina, who caught photos of the bird — nicknamed “Streak” — in her yard. He spent several days in the Ginter Park yard, and then was seen hanging out in Bellevue earlier this week.

He was in our yard too, on Oct. 28. We’re on Hill Monument, in Rosedale. My husband spotted him when he got home around 5:15.
