Believe me, I am just as concerned as anyone else in the area over the events that happened that evening, as I am a young woman that lives on that block. But, if it was a "sex worker" then that entire sitaution could have almost been avoided. I frequently call the RPD non-emergency number over streetwalkers, drug dealers, and gunshots that are heard along my block. In fact, I think they are tired of hearing from me at this point as their response time has significantly increased and the attitude of the dispatcher when I called the other evening was rude and demeaning.
