A Holton parent and PTA member, Laurie Follmer, has arranged that the proceeds from the ticket sales for the Henley Street Theatre's presentation of Richard III will go to CVFB! They are also taking canned goods of protien, soup & beans both at Holton & at Pine Camp Recreation Center, where the play will be held on Sept. 25. Call Pine Camp at 646-3674 for more details. So, who's next to take the challenge????? Good news! In particular for the Central VA Food Bank. Please remember that people are hungry all year, not just at the Holidays. The walls (not just a bin or two, but whole WALLS of bins) are empty and CVFB desperately needs our help. I challenge all neighborhoods and businesses to meet or (hopefully) beat the 481 pounds of food the AMAZING neighbors of Rosedale raised! It's easy! You just go do it. I'm also a member of Christ Ascension Episcopal Church which partnered with the RCA and collected many of the school supplies that went Holton. Do other northside civic groups do food drives?
