Website for 3rd District candidate Jonathan Davis is up

There are two candidates for the 3rd District City Council seat — incumbent Christopher Hilbert and newcomer Jonathan Davis. Richmond.com recently spotlighted the 3rd District race, and now Davis has a website up touting his experiences and positions.

It’s time for a change for leadership.

Thanks so much for attending our block party in August, and that you to the time to come out and introduce yourself. If it’s anyway that I could get a yard sign it would be greatly appreciated.

Pat send me your information, and I’ll be sure to get you a sign ASAP. Thanks

I appreciate the competition because ultimately we as voters win. However, I have to say I have been pleased with Hilbert. 100 new police officers, anti-prostitution legislation and targeted enforcement zones banning those individuals with prior convictions, Stationing a police precinct on Chamberlayne Avenue, money into the budget to start the International Baccalaureate program at Henderson. These cannot all be attributed to Hilbert but these are welcomed changes.

Hilbert has been such a disappointment; just more of the same old “good-ole-boy” crap, and incessantly bickering with my Mator. Heck, Hilbert is one of the reasons Mayor Wilder could not accomplish much. We need a councilperson who will converse with constituents. Hilbert hides from some of us.

    Jonathon,

You ran an excellent race!Congratulations on capturing over 42% of the vote. On paper, I did poorly, but it was generally a great experience for me and I am happy to have met you. I was surprised and pleased to do well in Precinct 303. Did you have anything to do with that? Thank you for your encouragement and friendship – even to the point of making calls to give me information I otherwise wouldn’t have had.

We’ll both continue to find ways to serve. I’ll hope to have an opportunity to work with you in the future.

    Pat

    Pat,

Hate to burst your bubble, but those write-ins at 303 were for Carol Wolf.

Mrs. Wolf has been a big supporter of JEB Stuart for the past six years and we love her dearly!

We wish she would have decided to launch an “official” write-in campaign. Had she, we have NO DOUBT that she would have easily beat her opponent.

So, please understand (no offense intended), those votes were not for you.

    THANK YOU CAROL WOLF!
