Motorcyclist dies on Chamberlayne Avenue

A man who died in a motorcycle wreck last night on the 4300 block of Chamberlayne Avenue in Richmond had been seen doing “wheelies” before he lost control, went into a median and crashed into a tree, police said.

Ronald Donnell Love, Jr., 38, of the 700 block of Akron Street was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said today that alcohol was a factor in the wreck that took place about 11 p.m.
