Battery Park Civic Association sets June 10 for next meeting
The Battery Park Civic Association will be meeting on Tuesday, June 10, at 6:30 pm at the Stone House on DuPont Circle. The BPCA will be meeting every second Tuesday of the month until decided otherwise.
We are having clean up on June 21, starting at 8am, meeting at 2803 Dupont Circle. We need volunteers to come out and help. We going to have about 4 to 5 trucks. And we really need folks to come out.
The Ginter Park Terrace Civic Association recently met and discussed the proposed liquor license for the new Neighborhood Market on Chamberlayne Avenue. The residents response to this proposal is mixed, however, they want an assurance that the owners of Neighborhhood Market will tress food and not liquor, and encourage their patrons to not litter the streets.
