Put Delegate McClellan to work for your community

Jennifer McClellan represents the 71st District for the Virginia House of Delegates, which includes much of North Richmond (including Lakeside in Henrico County). She recently asked North Richmond News to let her constituents know how she can help represent area residents:

As your representative in the Virginia House of Delegates, I am committed to providing you fair and open representation and the highest quality of public service possible.

I can help you! If you need assistance in dealing with state bureaucracies, getting an answer to a question about state government, or determining where to turn next, please call me.

Below are some of the services available through my office. If you have any comments on legislative issues or suggestions for revisions in current law, please let me know.

If I can ever be of assistance to you, please give me a call. If you would like to subscribe to my email list please visit my website at www.jennifermcclellan.com. I am honored to serve you and look forward to hearing from you.

The services available from Delegate McClellan and her staff include:

  • Speaking to community groups, schools, and service organizations
  • Presenting commending and memorial resolutions
  • Referring you to appropriate agency at the federal, state, or local level
  • Assisting with State Capitol tours and Virginia tourism information
  • Introducing bills of interest to you
  • Copies of bills and laws
  • Information on the legislative process
  • Suggestions on effective advocacy
  • Legislators’ voting records
  • Schedule of legislative meetings
  • Agency and department contacts
  • State and Legislative publications
  • Virginia state flags that have been flown over the State Capitol

Can you please explain the ridiculousness of Henrico County telling me my mailing address will change to Henrico, when the City is telling me that my house is clearly within the City to whom I will continue to properly pay taxes. I am proud of my Northside residence and City residence. I do not want to deal with the personal hassle of having my mailing address changed. Surely - if Henrico wants those within its bounds to have a Henrico address - have at it - just don’t sweep us true City residents into it.

Jenn - get together with Hilbert and stop the insanity.
