Jennifer McClellan represents the 71st District for the Virginia House of Delegates, which includes much of North Richmond (including Lakeside in Henrico County). She recently asked North Richmond News to let her constituents know how she can help represent area residents:

As your representative in the Virginia House of Delegates, I am committed to providing you fair and open representation and the highest quality of public service possible.

Can you please explain the ridiculousness of Henrico County telling me my mailing address will change to Henrico, when the City is telling me that my house is clearly within the City to whom I will continue to properly pay taxes. I am proud of my Northside residence and City residence. I do not want to deal with the personal hassle of having my mailing address changed. Surely – if Henrico wants those within its bounds to have a Henrico address – have at it – just don’t sweep us true City residents into it.
