The years have not been kind to the area, but all of that is about to change! BHC has a contract to purchase this property and is ready to do what we do best: physical and social revitalization. Over the next 2 years we will transform this worn down, crime-ridden area into a healthy, safe, beautiful place to live. We will reduce the number of apartments to 243 and build a Community Center and playground. Our Community Social Work staff has been hard at work evaluating the needs of the residents and will begin establishing services. And, as with everything BHC builds, these buildings will be EarthCraft certified, “green” and sustainable.
