Don't be fooled... there are many large 100-year-old homes in Highland Park that have been rebuilt and a new wave of home owners is taking root there. There are still some cheap houses left, but they are changing hands quickly. On every block there are 1 or 2 homes being renovated. It is good to see the area change for the better!
