TD on the Richmond Vegetarian Festival

Sunday’s Times-Dispatch has coverage of the 5th annual Richmond Vegetarian Festival, which was held yesterday at Bryan Park.

The fifth annual Richmond Vegetarian Festival, held at Bryan Park, was the biggest so far with more than 100 vendors and nonprofit organizations, said festival coordinator Brenda Morris.

In addition to food, thousands of attendees also enjoyed live music, children’s activities and cooking demonstrations, including one on preparing Gulf Coast-style vegan chicken gumbo by Ralph Esteves, a chef for the Washington Redskins.
